Thanks Nick,

Me too.. I tried your change, and it does seem to be a bit more stable since choosing a Sans font, rather than a Mono, as per your original suggestions, but I am just getting a pango crash on a different font.

Have you been able to update your version of libcairo to get around the problem? Or are you waiting for an official deb release?
